Jordan Cone, Country Director and Petrichor Co-Founder, has lived in Cameroon for many years. He works on the ground for Petrichor and over time has learned a lot about the culture of Cameroonian people and their love for football.

Inspired by wanting to implement change in coaching in Cameroon, Legend Academy Coach Etoh Anzah Kingsley Etoh dedicated his life to coaching the youth in football.

“What motivated me the most is the things I saw coaches doing back then which actually was not helping in building a future out of football [for] the youth,” Etoh said. He says working with children has been life-changing for him, “Working with children is a blessing. You get to know a lot about what is happening around you.”

La Liga and Petrichor Partner to Invest In Women's Football

Petrichor is partnering with LaLiga and La Liga Foundación to make a massive contribution women’s football in Cameroon by creating a new youth league for U13 and U15 girls. The league will run from February to May 2022 under the name “La Ligue D’Égalité” to provide opportunities for nearly 200 girls to play in a competitive and dynamic format, while developing football talent, teamwork, and character.

Chipper Launches A Partnership with PFA To Improve Community Fields

Petrichor Football Association is pleased to have partnered with Chipper, the largest mobile cross-border money transfer platform in Africa. The partnership is helping Petrichor provide much-needed improvements to the local fields and facilities where our member clubs play. Our teams will receive field equipment, facility upgrades, and training equipment to help invest in their development.
